What do the shipping options mean?

When you list an item, you pick a shipping policy so buyers know what to expect:

  • Local pickup only — no shipping; the buyer collects in person. Good for big, heavy, or fragile sets.
  • Ships, buyer pays — you'll ship it and the buyer covers postage. (This is the usual default.)
  • Ships, seller pays — you'll ship it with postage included in your price ("free shipping").
  • Not applicable — for trades or anything where shipping doesn't apply.

Whatever you choose, the actual arrangements happen directly between you and the buyer — see How do I buy something or make an offer?. Add any specifics (regions you'll ship to, carrier, packing) in the listing description.

See What do I set when I list something for sale?
