Curated Checklists — August 2026
Curated Checklists give model-train collectors a shared way to explore complete rosters and measure their own collection against them. A new curator import workflow now makes it easier for requested catalogs and series lists to become accurate Draft Checklists ready for review.
✨ New
- Faster setup for requested rosters. Trusted CCMF Trains curators can now turn a submitted CSV roster into one complete Draft Checklist for review, helping large manufacturer catalogs and themed lists reach the public library more accurately.
- Models and Sets stay together. Imported rosters can include both catalog Models and Sets in one deliberate public display order instead of splitting one collecting goal across separate lists.
⭐ What collectors can do
- Browse and narrow the library. Open Checklists, search by name, curator, or description, and use Category to focus on Manufacturer Catalogs, Themed Series, Anniversaries, Road Names, or other rosters.
- See your progress. Signed-in collectors get a Your completion bar plus Owned, Not owned, and Partial status throughout each roster.
- Follow lists that matter. Select Follow to track a live checklist and receive a notification when new items are added.
- Discover lists from catalog items. Model and Set detail pages show Appears in these curated checklists, making it easy to find related collecting goals.
- Enjoy a curated presentation. Cover images, descriptions, and intentional member order make each list useful as both a reference and a collecting guide.
