How do I list a piece for sale or trade?

Listing happens right on the piece you already own — there's no separate "create a listing" form.

Steps

  1. Open the piece and change its Status to For Sale or For Trade.
  2. You'll be taken to the edit form to fill in the listing details:
    • Asking price (and currency — USD for now)
    • Listing description — a plain-text blurb for buyers (formatting is stripped)
    • Shipping policy — local pickup, ships buyer pays, ships seller pays, or n/a
    • Accepts offers — whether buyers see a Make Offer button
  3. Save, and your piece goes live.

Good to know

  • Listing a piece forces it public, and your profile must be public to sell. (We ask for consent the first time.)
  • Your item appears on the public Listings page and gets its own shareable listing page — handy for a QR code at a show.
  • There's no in-app checkout. Interested buyers contact you (message or offer) and you arrange payment and shipping off-platform, however you both prefer.
  • When the deal is done, mark it sold so it leaves the marketplace and your sale is recorded.

Tip: Selling a whole boxed set? List it from My Sets instead — see How do I sell a whole set at once?
