Lionel Die-cast Genset Locomotives (3GS21B) Public Locked

After introducing the die-cast tooking for this locomotive in the 2009 Signature Catalog with the UP Vision Genset #2701, and using it again the following year with the Norfolk Southern Vision Genset #300, Lionel realized they had a hit on their hands. They simplified the electronics, and especially the spectacular coordinated three smoke unit feature only found on those two Visionline locomotives, and did two more runs with the same engine bodies, in 2011 and again in 2021. They were so popular that (predictably) MTH copied the design and released a Premier version of their own in 2013 and 2023. They never miss a chance to follow. The Demonstrator and NASA versions were the only paint schemes of note in that run, and upgrading them to Legacy is pretty straight forward.

Heavy, sturdy, unique looking and released in some wonderful paint schemes, these have been a favorite of collectors for a while, and here's a checklist of all of them.
